In self-quarantine, I’ve been wearing the same clothes everyday, like I’m a cartoon character. I used to marvel at my Grandpa, who only ever wore a navy blue work shirt, blue pants in the same shade, and blue suspenders. He had a few identical sets of each hanging up in his closet and that was it.
This Chuck Prophet song reminds me of his closet. Besides how catchy it is, I love the story behind the song too. And it reminds me that clothes really can make a difference and I really need to pick it up in the fashion department.
