Whenever someone is about to get off the metro/bus while unknowingly leaving a glove behind on their seat, it always seems like upwards of 4 people try to stop them. "Hey mister," the chorus calls. "You left your glove!"
And do you know why this is? Because in the moment you hand the poor beleaguered soul their glove or mitten, you can think to yourself, "Yes, I am a good person. Here's the proof right here."
PS - I am forever losing gloves and mittens, so I like to return forgotten gloves in order to store up my karma for the day when I too may need a helping hand.
