The up escalator has been out of commission at the Dupont Circle metro station, which is bad news since it is approximately 10,000 steps underground. At least it feels that way. So funny to watch everyone walking in front of you start out climbing the stairs all gung-ho, then begin to lose steam towards the middle. Near the top, we're all looking around and thinking, "Where's my sherpa?"
